Beckett's One Year Pics at Stoney Ridge

Turning one in December is a little tricky around here to schedule outdoor photo shoots.  Since we didn't do 9 month pictures and hadn't had a family picture taken since he was born I was determined to get something done for Christmas cards.  We were lucky with a bright sunny day, however it was like 20 degrees out with the North Easter winds whipping.  We literally waited in the car between takes, and ran out for short stints. The boys did fantastic, did I really just say that!?!  Yep I did, good thing because this mom loves pictures and they have had plenty of practice.

Stoney Ridge was nice enough to let us snap some shots out there and we were able to grab a tree at the same time so that was a bonus.

Barnwood Project & School Pics 2013

Nothing like a spur of the moment photo shoot!  A friend of mine, Monica Bedlington was making these cool barn wood picture frames for our entry way, and we needed some fun head shots.  She has 2 boys and add my 4 to the mix it was hard to get pics taken and I think we ended up leaving in tears because of all the tackle football they got in.  Boys will be boys!

Beckett's 3 Month Pics!

My baby is 3 months old!  Beckett performed as expected for Brea in his indoor photoshoot to give everyone a smile show!  Gosh his smiles warm my heart!  I also realized that I never ordered any of these for myself or family or friends, so if anyone wants one, email me and I can order you some :)

Crew's First Grade and Brody's Preschool Basketball

It truly makes me smile to look at these basketball pictures of the boys.  It is so different being on the other side of things when your kids play.  They are still SO YOUNG and its pretty priceless to be apart of their early years of hoops.  To see their personalities shine and to make all the funny mistakes that kids makes leaves me shaking my head.  I will take it, because honestly I want basketball and all sports to ALWAYS be FUN.

Crew got to play in the Boys and Girls Club League again this season, and they finished undefeated in the 2nd grade division as first graders.  It's comical to see some of the parents already all jazzed up over things, but as first graders I am glad they have a structured team to work not only on basketball skills but following directions, listening, and getting a good release of energy.

One of Crew's teammates, Logan, his mom is a photographer so it was bonus we got some cool shots of these kiddos.

It will be fun to look back on to see when they boys are older sporting the green and gold Lynden jerseys as little guys.

Cruiser, full of it like always.  He did still get excited about the score this year, and super animated like always.  I hope that he never loses his contagious spirit!

And then their is my Bobo!  Talk about a hoot watching 3 and 4 year old play some basketball.  If they didn't run with the ball at least once during each possession it didn't seem right.  Brodes liked to run and gun and did just great!  Although it seemed like his defensive skills were stemmed from his love of Spidey and he was caught webbing his opponents and then would take off.  He has showed some gymnast moves on the court.  

Cell phone picture quality is lacking... Sorry bud your mom had a brand new baby and your two other crazy brothers to chase and keep tabs on.

 Him and his best bud Dane got to play on the same team!  Just like preschool these two had to be constantly separated!

 The best game ever when we got to play cousin Chris' team!  They got to guard each other for awhile too!
