Visiting baby Kendall

To celebrate Court's birthday and visit baby Kendall down in Bow, Kassi and I took Taylor and Kyler with us to meet the new baby. We left the 3 crazy boys at home!
Taylor was especially excited for Courtney to have a girl and couldn't wait to hold her.
Tay, Kyler, and Kendall, she is such a good baby, eats well, sleeps good, burps easily and only cries when getting her diaper changed... Where do I get one of those? :)

We had a fun relaxing night, we brought Court some taco soup and just relaxed while getting updates from Shane's District Championship game that night. On to state this week!

She's Here! Kendall Dean Stacy

Kendall Dean Stacy was born on her due date weighing in at 8lbs 6 oz and 22 inches long! Big baby, and very very precious! She was born at 6:30 am. Shane said she was born with her thumb in her mouth, so typical! I will let Court share all the birthing details, but Court did an amazing job!
I got there in time to witness the bath and footprints, it was so great to be there with them during this special time. I love Kendall so much already, she will probably be the closest thing I will ever have to a daughter....
Her first outfit, she might be growing out of that newborn size soon!
First family photo--Love you Stacy Family!

Proud dad, this time of year could not be any better, on to the state tournament next week too :)
Me and Kendall Dean
Court and Kyler hours before she was born. She left work early because she was having contractions and waited at my house so we had fun timing contractions and just relaxing...
Final pregnancy picture. You look so good Court! I am so extremely happy for you guys, I am on cloud nine for you. Looking forward to many fun memories! Crew cannot wait to meet Kendall, even though he told me this morning that he doesn't like girls. But he was super excited to know the doctor had finally taken the baby out of your tummy and wants to hold her very soon. He said he will put medicine on his hands to make sure they are clean.

Loving the Weekend--Happy Monday!

No such thing as a bad Monday when both Chris and I have off and we get to keep enjoying the beautiful weather and another day together with our boys! This weekend was so great having Chris off for his long 4 day stretch, and with the nice weather we got to do a lot of things that kept us moving and the boys had so much fun!
A couple dinner dates, coffee play dates with friends, makeup party for me (loving Arbonne), and lots of family time makes Chris going back to working 5 nights in a row sound awful. But with Courtney going into labor any second, I can't wait to meet her sweet little baby girl, I am so excited for what this week brings. Do I really have to go back to work next year? I think I am busy enough with my amazing boys!
His classic chair pose...After a fun filled weekend everyone was a little tired this morning :)
We got a Wii for Christmas and Rob was helping Crew and Jack play last night. Crew really hasn't gotten into video games yet, but this might have opened a whole new can of worms...
Jack was a pro, he had played before and he amazed all of us with his awesome bowling skills! Now that the weather has been nicer (3rd time mentioning this) it seems like we have seen our neighbors more these last week than the last month, so fun!
Kys was a good boy continuing to eat a ton, and does not miss a beat, he is exceptionally alert and aggressive. Watch out Crew and Brody your brother is taking everything in, and in no time he will be right there with you guys.
Taking a break to watch a movie, the Dalmatian dog is keeping them separated, these boys have no clue to personal space!

Sneak Peek at SPRING!

We are really having some amazing weather this week, so I decided it was time to get Kyler and the rest of the boys in the stroller and head out for a walk and trip to the park. Becca came too and we got Crew and Brody in the double stroller and Kyler in the single. We are quite the site walking along. I can't wait to take all 3 on my bike, Crew/Kyler in the trailer behind my bike, and Brody will go on the bike seat right behind me. Nice weather and lots of fun outside enjoying it!
Brody is at such a fun and capable age now running around the park and going up and down the slides with Crew. It is is just as enjoyable for me to watch them play and have a blast getting all of their energy out...

Kys all bundeled up before we left... He did GREAT!!!!
He even fell asleep during the last little bit... This picture reminds me of one of Crew. I really think Kyler is becoming a good mix of both Crew and Brody. It is so fun that they are all so different.

Head first, why not?
It was a great morning and we even got to check out Cole and Becca's new place that they get to move into next week. Fun fun. Looking forward to many more walks and trips to the park as the weather stays nice and gets warmer!

Dad's Dudes

Chris is loving his boys too, and doesn't hesitate to bring the camera out and take some pics.
All of the boys love wearing Chris' bandanna's... Pretty cute Kys
Blowing on Kyler's tummy, Crew can really entertain him for long periods of time, Kyler just adores him.

You are probably thinking that all we do is take pictures around here, well it seems that way, Crew is always wanting his picture taken with Kyler, and with everything seeming more "normal" everyday we are having so much fun, so with that comes lots of pictures, and then I guess more blog posts... So ENJOY :) (or tune out)

Live Laugh Love

Hope everyone had a fantastic Valentine's Day. We were spoiled enough to be around both of our families helping us out for the day so I could run some errands and get a pedicure, and Chris and I could go out for dinner together.
And of course still the best part of our day was with each other having some "cousey" (cuddle time) before bed...

Happy Valentine's Day to my 4 favorite valentine's. You are the loves of my life!

Nana's Haircuts

We had a Valentine's Day lunch and haircut special!
Crew and Brody were not very lucky in the hair they got. It is spiky and frizzy and can not be worn very long. So we have to stay on top of getting their hair cut. Tara my cousin normally cuts their hair, but my mom thought she could do it since they both threw such a fit for Tara last time.
Brodes did so great, and gave Nana a big hug and told her "Thank you". What a sweet little guy.
Since Brody went first we thought the #1 blade all over would be good, well Brody does look pretty bald, but we kept telling him how pretty he looked, so he walked around and kept saying "peeety."
Then there was Crew who needed a lot of persuading and told many times to SIT STILL! Just 3 more minutes he kept saying :) His hair is so thick!

Kys was entertained by Papa (silly papa)

A Light at the End of the Tunnel

The smile that keeps going...He smiles so very easily...
Okay you can hold Kyler, AGAIN!
Enjoying the warm weather this February!
Kyler even got bundled up to go outside in my Ergo for a few laps around the block with the rest of the family.

With Kyler almost being 4 months old I can definitely say we "see the light"! Wow, I don't know how we honestly survived some of those days. Well I do, prayer and prayer and prayer! But he has turned some big corners the past few weeks, and that screamer has turned into one wide-mouth, big smiles boy! He is sleeping a 6 hour stretch at night, and will eat and go back to sleep for another couple hours. Napping is still hard, but we are getting more of a routine down. I would like for him to be sleeping in a crib instead of the car seat, but that just quite isn't happening yet. He is still on his special formula and they said around 6 months we can try to start weaning him off, and hopefully he won't be allergic to anything. Also it is almost like he is playing catch up because he is eating every 2-3 hours in the day and has increased to 4-5 ounces per bottle. The big hold up with him still is the non stop screaming in the car seat while driving, so I am praying for that day to end so he might be happier going to more places. His reflux is still bothering him pretty bad, the poor baby always stinks!

We were at the doctor's earlier this week because he still has somewhat of a cold for the past couple weeks, my doctor is so sweet. She honestly looked me in the eye and was like we were so very worried about you Julie, Kyler was so bad, and personally she did not know how I did it. She said between the 20 pediatricians in their Bellingham office they had not had a case as bad as Kyler's in over a year. Currently they have a couple patients in their practice that are really struggling with babies, not quite as bad as Kyler, so I told her to give them my number, if I could be of any help I would be honored. It almost seems like God makes us forget those hard times quicker than we think, because even though those hard times were only weeks away, I have moved on and have become a stronger person because of them. I am starting to feel like a whole new person. I did blog quite a bit about how I was feeling during those dark, long days and nights, but seeing Kyler today and knowing the struggles that other people are currently dealing with, make everything seem like it was just another bump in the road. Trying to put myself back into those days of him tightly swaddled, bounced on the ball for 18+ hours a day, screaming, not eating, not sleeping, gripe water, gas drops, whatever Internet remedy could buy, doctor appointments, Children's Hospital, probiotics, chiropractor visits, 2 crazy boys running around, a mom not showered and home bound for days at a time.... I survived, and I can honestly say that it was all worth it. We are through the worse of it until the next thing comes right?

Right now I am starting to get together with friends more again, make time for the gym, and actually sit down for 5 minutes, it feels great. I am so incredibly blessed, God has continued to bless us with the amazing support of our families, some newer friends, and the greatest old friends I could ever ask for. Life is good!

Super Bowl 2010

This year we headed into Josh and Stacey's house for the Super Bowl, we were pretty nervous on how Kyler would do since we were going to be gone for so long. Overall all the boys did pretty good and Kyler even napped, imagine that! Other than Kyler screaming non stop to and from Bellingham in the car, we had a great trip and time with some friends!
