Fall Pregnancy Family Shots

This week we had some fall pregnancy shots done. Our last pictures of us being a family of 4! It started pouring down rain 10 minutes before our pictures started, so we were pretty limitted in what we could do. I can't complain about the weather though, I LOVE FALL!

36 Weeks...23 days left...

Things are continuing to go well with this pregnancy. Although I don't remember being this TIRED during my last two pregnancies, but I am also having more going on with two little boys! I had doctor's appointment this morning and everything looks great and baby is measuring right on schedule. My doctor thinks this baby will not be as big as Crew but pretty average. I am praying this baby is healthy, is fully developed, and just by chance could have good ears?!! We have officially decided on a name, and I even ordered the name to go above the crib, so it is official! Trying to get up the gym still about 3 days week, which seems to help some.
I have however been very busy and anxious as I am trying to get everything done for this babies arrival. Severe nesting as I am finding that I want every closet, cupboard, room, project done now! Which isn't happening on my time since the boys are taking all of my energy! Time to call in the grandparents more! The past week Brody and I have developed colds which is not fun, but other than that we are hanging in there.
I am so excited to hopefully finally get some fall weather! Ready for the cooler days and nights and some leaves to start blowing. What a great time of year :)

Chris' belly shot...he is going to kill me... :)

To Grandma's House We Go!

Since I am not working right now I have been trying to get the boys out of the house in the mornings to do fun things before baby gets here. It has been awhile since we had been over to Grandma Viv's, she is always making visits to our house. When Crew was a baby and I was working full time she and grandpa would watch Crew one day a week, so Crew loves it there!
It was such a nice morning, I brought out coffees and I sat in the recliner while my grandma chased and played with the boys. They even got to take a ride in grandpa's wheel chair down the wheel chair ramp!! How fun! Thanks for such a nice morning grandma and grandpa!
Grandma and grandpa are also letting us borrow their glider rocker for this new baby since Chris said I am not allowed to use my exercise ball. This is going to be hard for me since the exercise ball works so well at calming a fussy baby and putting them to sleep. The bad part was, we couldn't leave the house without it and our poor mom's and grandma's were having to have them at their house just so they could get our kids to sleep. We would even have to pack the ball and pump any where we would go, so hopefully this time the baby likes to just be rocked and not bounced!
Also we would like to wish Grandpa a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

They do SLEEP

Although some days are very long and tiresome, it never gets old to check on the boys and watch them sleep. They are so peaceful when they fall asleep and it is sometimes hard to imagine at that point how busy and wild they can be throughout the day.
As I stand there watching them in all of that peacefulness I am so grateful for them and all the joy they bring to our lives.

Little Huskies

On Saturday we had a few people over to watch the Husky game, so the boys got to put on their jerseys.
Cole Turrell (Josh and Stacey's) was there in his jersey too! The three of them had a blast all day chasing each other and playing.

We had the football ball pit out, and the boys had a great time throwing all 250 balls all around the house!
Mixing in some wrestling with Josh, it got pretty crazy....
Nice hair Brody! I can't believe how blond he is! Good thing you and Crew have hair cuts coming up!
Crew was the leader of the pack...
We even had a little "good luck" charm show up at our house for the day. This really tame kitten that we later named Husky and joked to Chris that we were going to keep... :)
Oh Cole... What a sweet little guy, him and Brody are so much a like! So fun having you guys over!!!

My Favorite Day EVER!

Crew is really into saying that things are his favorite ever. So he kept telling me on Friday how doing all of these things were his favorite. We had a busy day between going to the Fun Zone in Bellingham with his buddy Brady and Brody, and that evening we met up with Kassi and her kids to do our 2nd annual corn maze and Milt's Pizza dinner.
Since we were letting the kids lead us around the corn maze, lets just say we were in there FOREVER, we finally made it back to the beginning the wrong way, and the high school students let us "cheat" and go around the gate.
Around and around the corn maze....
Which way now?

We were pretty tired after this day, but the rest of the weekend was busy and fun too! I think I am trying to do as many fun things with the boys before the baby gets here!

Soccer Player Crew!

We signed Crew up for a 4 day soccer clinic through the Y. They start them at 3 and 4 years old and it is so cute watching these guys run around and do soccer drills. Crew does pretty well, I was nervous about his listening and following the coaches directions, but he does okay. He is one of the youngest kids there, so he doesn't "get" all of the drills, but he is good at running up and down the field kicking the ball. He is definitely left footed like this dad and papa.
In the mix with the other kids. He has shown some aggression and nudged some kids and taken a few kids down. He didn't think I was watching, and we had a big talk about that one!

Practicing early before the other kids were there...
Go Crew go! Nana got him some soccer cleats, he loves his soccer shoes!
Preparing for the goal shot.
Working on dribbling the ball

When they first get there, they go through an actual warm up and the coach has them all hold hands, and they have a little "pep" talk. Then they actually go and do a group jog and stretch together in circle, it is so cute! Crew is very vocal of course and loves to yell and get excited when the coach asks them if they are ready, or whatever.

Big Boy Brodes

Brody is continuing to get more and more active, agile, FAST, and daring! He literally runs everywhere, and he can out run me pretty easily right now. If I am not carrying him to the car, he will beat me to the end of the drive way and be half way down our alley way before I get him. This is not safe, so I have to watch out. He can also climb up our slides, and loves to shoot down them really fast all by himself, and is very proud of himself when he lands on his feet. If he falls down he just laughs, it is pretty cute. He has also got the hang of keeping the ball in front of him and kicking it all over the house or the yard. Monkey see, monkey do, Crew is showing him all of his tricks! Brody also loves to jump right now, and goes crazy trying to be silly like his brother, it is pretty funny to watch. These boys wear me out!
Mom you better be watching me, he loves an audience and wants to make sure we are watching and clapping for him when he goes down the slide!
Up and down, up and down the slides over and over again!
Brushing and walking around the house, multitasking!
Chilin on the coach with his new "chucks" converse high tops. They are so cute on him!
Loves his blanky animals

5 Weeks Until "D" Day!

The countdown is on until delivery day! I am starting to get a little bit more anxious considering my “list” does not have that many checks on it yet. Getting more and more tired and I don’t have the motivation do to everything I need to while trying to take care of the boys. I think part of it is that I originally I planned on moving Brody into Crew’s room right now to start the transition process, but both boys are not really sleeping that great, and are waking each other up not even being in the same room yet. Soooo… hopefully we can make that transition soon, or we might just put Brody’s crib in the bonus room for a few months until they are more ready.

Had my 34 week appointment this last week and everything looks great, so I can’t complain. I am having a decent number of contractions though, but nothing regular and not as painful as with Brody and Crew. So keeping my fingers crossed! I still seem to feel better, no matter how tired I am, if I get up to the gym and workout, so I have been dragging the boys with me and trying to work out as much as possible to get energy! Chris and I have a name that we have agreed on for awhile now, but we are still not 100% sure, so lately I have been trying to come up with new names just to make sure this is what we want… If anyone has any ideas send them my way! :)

Our little boy will be here soon! He is sure a mover and kicker and always has his feet lodged in my ribs, so I am guessing he is going to fit in just fine!!

New belly shot coming soon, growing, growing, growing!!

New Camera!

Happy early birthday to me! I got a new camera (Canon Powershot SX20 si), and now I am playing around with the different shooting modes and things. It is so much fun! So hopefully once I get this thing all figured out I my pictures will be much clearer :)

Trying to get the "sports mode" down, the boys are always on the move, so I was trying to capture some wrestling shots.

Teething is a rough life!
