Family Christmas Time

Our tradition of my family on Christmas Eve and Chris' on Christmas Day works out great.  This year both sides decided to get away from the big dinner, and simplify.  So we did appetizers Friday night, and brunch Christmas morning.  Relaxing and low key, can't beat that!

We are so spoiled by our families and are so lucky to have this time to celebrate together. We love you guys! Pictures say it all, so I was snapping away for two days straight....

Nana definitely knows how to win over these little boys hearts...that's right, lots of frosting...yummy snowman cupcakes!

Just as much fun jumping in all the boxes and wrapping as getting new presents...
Kade will never look at me with my camera....
So Crew jumped in front of me and made some silly faces to get this family pic!
Ky sure liked his toy, although cousin Kade was not giving up that hammer very easily!
So proud  :)

THANKS FOR A NICE RELAXING CHRISTMAS MORNING PRICE FAM!

We enjoyed this holiday season so much, I did not feel as overwhelmed as years past, but most of all we just really love being with our families.  We look forward to it, and it is so cool to see the special relationships the boys have with everyone, it just makes me smile...

Let it be Christmas!

We did our own Christmas with the boys Christmas Eve morning.  Gosh how lucky are we, really, 3 boys full of energy, lots to be thankful for, and so much to enjoy. It was super relaxed, we woke up, had breakfast and did not even tell the kids we were going to be opening presents, so they wouldn't be bugging us.  So when they found it it was time, it was a total surprise.  As you can see we don't really play up the whole Santa came and left presents, it was mom coming down the downstairs with boxes full of wrapped gifts.  Magical!! :)

We only got Kyler one gift, what does a 3rd boy really need?  So he had fun just opening and throwing wrapping paper everywhere, and took a lot of interest in checking out what Crew and Brody got, which did not make them very happy, but has already mastered the role of the youngest brother.  As you can see from some of the pictures, Brodes was not a happy camper, on day two of high temps, come to find out 2 days later he does in fact have a double ear infection.  Even with that he was such a trooper at all the parties the following days!

"Let it be Christmas everywhere, feel the love of the season wherever you are...let heavenly music fill the air...let anger and fear and hate disappear...let there be love that lasts through the year..."
These guys make everything worth it!  Love you!
Lotso!  His tummy even smells like strawberries!
 Oh yeah baby!
Kys loves all the gifts... :)
Every cowboy needs his own hat....Sheriff Woody...
Chris LOVES putting together all of the toys....
Merry Christmas!

Messages and a Visit From SANTA!

Ho Ho Ho!  Although Santa has never been something we have really pushed, the boys are still very excited to talk about seeing him, and telling him what they want.  Brody has always been scared to death of anything in a costume, so Brody gets really nervous when we ask him if he wants to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas.

Courtney and Shane hosted a Santa party this year, which turned out so perfect!  Diane had this great idea to get (big) Kendall a Santa suit for Christmas last year knowing that he would make the perfect Santa every year as (little) Kendall and all the future grand kids grew up.  So last night we headed over and had a blast with some friends and 18 kids!  Santa made his grand appearance, and for a rookie Santa did a mighty fine job!

The boys were even lucky enough this year to have Santa make custom messages for them... :)

Brody loved Santa!!
All the kids came running from everywhere in the house to see all the commotion...Ho Ho Ho!!
Santa had a gift for each of the kid's and called them all by name, it was so cute...All my boys not wanting to miss anything....
Tyler had to drag Kade up there and sat right next to Santa...
Crew had a very valid question.  "Santa, where are your reindeer?"  Santa was stumped... :)  Oh they are on the badger...Good response Santa!
 Cool toy buddy!
Ky was not too sure about Santa, and kept whipping around to look at him...
Moments before he crashed....Yep Santa only dropped one child, and of course our wild man jumped out of Santa's lap, you better work on that for next year Santa,  you just never know what our boys are capable of!
He got up and ran away with his present, he knows what to do!
And some parents even got to sit on Santa's lap too!
Brodes did great, even for not feeling great...we ended up leaving and he was coming down with a fever.. :(
Big Kendall, and little Kendall, how precious!
Mine, Court's, and Kassi's kids.  Just only part of the tribe there to see Santa.  What a group!

It was such a fun time, and it looks like this just might an annual event.  Crew and Lane even discovered Santa's stuff he left behind, and came running out of Court and Shane's closet with Santa gear and ringing bells.  Looks like Santa better work on his clean up work, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!
