The Day at the Bay

Josh and Stacey invited us out to the bay today to their parents cabin. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a lot of fun.
Crew and Josh have always had a great relationship, and Crew just loves him. Here they are with "baby" Cole walking out in the water.
It was a long day for the young boys, no naps, Cole fell asleep on the walk out..

Aimee loved holding Brody, he started out pretty low key and calm.... and..... then
We got the pool set up... and then...
Brody discovered all of the sand and mud and went to town!
Yummy it tastes so good. The picture doesn't really show how bad it became. Sand all over in his hair, ears, nose, eyes, you name it, there was sand.
So then we decided to let him play in the tide flats, until he started trying to eat the mud too. Silly boy!

Stacey and Cole chilling on the blanket.

Thanks for having us out guys! Can't wait until next time!

Taste of Summer

High 70's = perfect weather for us! Pools are filled at 8 am, and ready to be played in later that day. We are going to have a fun summer, and with only 10 days left of teaching I can hardly wait!!
They each have their own pool, but Brodes likes to try to get into Crew's all the time.

On your mark... get set... GO! Crew and Chris running through the beach ball sprinkler.
Lots of love for Brody!
Court and Shane come over this weekend for a BBQ, and the boys were showing her their new wrestling moves. We don't have a very low key house... :)

The sweetest little boy EVER! :)

Happy Birthday Papa!

Happy Birthday Papa (Roberts). Thanks for coming over for cake and ice cream. Crew says "I like Papa's Party!" Looking forward to the Demo Derby this summer! :)

19 Weeks

Here you go girls, just what you have wanted :) Me and baby at 19 weeks....

Everything is continuing to go very well this pregnancy. I still believe it to be 100% boy, so you better ALL change your votes before next Wednesday. Even though things have been so different I still have that same boy feeling. By the way I need some boy names!!
I am still working out at least 4 days a week, but most other days I am still staying pretty active with the boys. I never thought I would continue to run, but I am still fitting it in a couple days a week, but that is coming to an end. Doctor says after 20 weeks, I can't do anything high impact, so I will be on the elliptical and doing my Power pump class :)

1 & 3 Year Appointments

So for this round of well check appointments I thought I would be smart and have both of their appointments at the same time. Really? I must have major pregnany brain in forgetting how hard it can be taking one of them to the doctor, let alone BOTH of them. I must have been smart enough at the time to make sure Chris was not working the afternoon of their appointments, so he was able to come with us :)

Got to the office plenty prepared with lots of snacks and bribes to keep Crew from trying to jump around on all the chairs, and to keep Brody content on my lap. Like any other appointment, waiting 20 minutes can seem like an hour, but we managed. Everytime the nurse comes out to call a patient, Crew is right up there trying to run in the door, so finally they called his name and he just sprints and gets all excited. Crew thinks it is pretty cool to step on the scale and get weighed, and on our way to the scale he looks at the nurse and says "I like you doctor"! He is really into telling people he likes them, what his name is, "Hi I am Crew Price" even if you don't ask him, and my official greeter and loves walk people out the door and wave until he doesn't see your car anymore. My little social dude.

Crew's stats: 40 lbs, 40 inches (>95%) my big boy!
*No concerns, we are still working on potty training (regressed big time!) and he is doing very well meeting all of development goals. No more shots until he has to go to school so that is nice! He is very very active, and very very high energy which has always been the case...

After Crew was done, Chris left with Crew which was helpful. Brody's appointment went well, tubes looked good, eyes are completely healed!! Praise God that we do not have to go through with another surgery this summer!!! He is meeting all of his development goals. He is not walking yet, but since he got his tubes this month, he is finally able to stand and balance on his own. He has even tried taking steps the last couple of days. The doctor thinks that over the next couple of months we are going to see some major changes in him.

He is an active little boy too, always seeing how fast he can crawl up the stairs without me looking, or emptying everything out the drawers. If his partner and crime is around, they are able to do a lot of naughty things to team up these days. They like to lock themselves into different rooms and closets and hide from me, or they just love to play hard. Brody has gotten to be such a tough kid! He has no choice!

Brody's stats: 22.5 lbs, 29 3/4 inches (50%) my average stud! I call him my mini Chris!

On the GO!

I have normally been pretty good about keeping my blog up to date, but we have been busy enjoying the nice weather and two little boys are keeping VERY busy! We are going on a lot of bike rides and walks to the park, and many trips around the neighbor hood on riding toys and running around.
Here we are visiting at Nana's house after one of our bike rides, they have lots of riding toys there too, which they like because they are different from the ones they have at home.

Brodes can't quite keep up to Crew yet, wait for me Cruiser!!

More Birthday!

Cole and Becca couldn't make the boy's party because they had to work, so they dropped by the spoil the boys with some nice presents.
Crew got a whole new pack of dinosaurs, he LOVES them! Sharing with Brody is the hard part :)

Not sure why Crew feels like he needs to ride Brody's car, but he does. Brody got a bubble lawn mower from Cole and Becca, and they both got some of those big toy balls to throw around. Which they are good at!!!
Not sure why we didn't get a picture of Brody, he might have been sleeping :)

Dinosaur Birthday Party!

Since the boys' birthdays are so close, and they are young enough to not know the difference we had a combined party for them this year. May is such a busy month, and even having it this way
it was still hard to accommodate everyone's work schedules in our families.
My friend Joelle made these awesome dinosaur cakes for the boys, homemade cake and frosting too. They turned out awesome!

We had the party at Milt's Pizza, here are Papa and Memi!
Brody happy as always, chowing down on some pizza.
Memi and Papa, and Nana and Papa
Chris and Cruiser
Brody's best friend Cole and him got to sit by each other, they had a lot of fun :)
Great Grandpa and Grandma Roberts, Jeff, Rachel, and Jessi!

Oh Brodes.
Happy Birthday to YOU!
Make a wish!
"I like birthdays"

Brody's turn, Happy Birthday to you BRODY!
Not quite sure what to do with this cake yet...
Oh NOW I got it! This picture just cracks me up!

YEAH!

As Brody is shoving cake, Crew is nicely taking bites since he is a such a calm three year old, YEAH RIGHT!

Just in case there was still some frosting on the plate...

Present time.

Crew LOVES the Land Before Time, which was the theme of his party. He got a little foot stuffed animal with one of the movies, and he still hasn't gone too far away from it!

Thank you everyone for coming, it was a fun night, and the boys were very spoiled by everyone. They each got really cool travel bags with their names on it, lots of TOYS, clothes, movies, a bike, sleeping bag, pool, games, money, and lots of love from their favorite people. You guys are the greatest!

Sunny Days!

We had a great weekend with nice weather, so we got some quality outside play time and pool time.
We got to hang out with Jack a lot this weekend riding bikes and riding toys down the alley and bringing out the monkey pool.
Brodes checking out the pool.
Brody really wanted to play in the big boy pool though...
