28 Weeks! (7 months) 3rd Trimester!

I had my 28 week appointment today, I can't believe I am 7 months along and into my third trimester. Although I feel huge so it must be right! The appointment went well, blood pressure was really good, glucose test came back normal, gained some weight (very typical for me!)... Baby is measuring on the big side, no surprise there either. I just LOVE my doctor, Dr. Tu is amazing so it is always fun to chat with her and get caught up, now I start going every two weeks!
I am so happy that I am still feeling good too, except for this miserable HOT weather. I stopped running at 24 weeks, but I am still doing the elliptical and my Power Pump class to keep me in somewhat of shape. Having a few braxton hicks contractions but no real ones yet (keeping my fingers crossed). My doctor is very pleased because with last pregnancy they started at 24 weeks.
Keep sending those healthy prayers my way...
*Also they set my c-section date to Oct. 19! Less than 3 months away :)

Just being BOYS

This past week has been CRAZY with weather. On Saturday night we had this huge thunder and lightening storm and the boys were watching it on porch with Chris. I thought this picture of Brody was pretty funny drinking his Capri Sun.
In between all the thunder and lightning the boys enjoyed running really quickly outside in the rain to get soaked!

MONSTERS!!! Crew is really into looking for monsters these days, so we turn off all the lights in the house and him and Brody take their flashlights and look and find them. Crew loves flashlights! Brody just thinks its fun to follow his brother around and then scream and run when Crew does.
So the rest of the week has been HOT HOT HOT! Just completely miserable if you ask me, so the boys and I have been trying to find ways to stay cool, one day it was 103! And yes my boys will be helping around the house. So I have started them early with some sweeping duties :)
So serious!

Camping in Chelan with Nana and Papa

This past weekend we were over in Chelan visiting my parents who are camping in the city park. It was a fun trip, and very hot weather! Of course I packed the Tahoe like I was going for two weeks, but we had plenty of stuff! Chris had to work so I went alone with the boys, which made for very interesting rides to and from Chelan. The DVD player entertained Crew, but Brody showed a whole new demanding side to him. Who would have thought my kids would have been tough travelers? Both Crew and I both were a little carsick too, some things never change!!
Papa and the boys wresting on the air mattress, lots of time hanging out by the campsite and finding games and ways to entertain the boys and keep them from running everywhere.
Story time. Brody has 2 books (Animal Sounds, and Baby Colors) that he totes around everywhere with him and always wants to read. It is so cute, especially since Crew wasn't as into books at his age
Playing the kiddy area. Crew had so much fun playing in the water this year.

Nana and the boys swimming
Brody having fun in the sand
Watch out CREW!!! This is MY chair! Brody is definitely getting more and more possessive and controlling over what HE wants and will scream and throw a fit until he gets it! I wonder where he learned that?

One night they went on the race cars and Crew thought that was the coolest thing, he couldn't quit talking about it.
Papa and Crew
Working on his new swimming skills he learned in swim lessons
Crew pushing Brody in his swim floaty
Ready, set, JUMP!
Once Brody got warmed up to the water, he LOVED it!
Making round around the loop on his big wheel
Brody photo shoot....what a happy dude

Lots of fun!
I burnt my hand last week and the picture really doesn't show all the burn spots, but it is looking pretty gross and it heals..
Crew was very obsessed with goggles the whole week. He liked to put them on and wear them around.
Playing in the boat at the campsite
Brody pinning Crew, get em Brodes!
Growing up we went camping every year to Chelan and it was fun to be able to bring the boys to do some of the very same things that I have very fond childhood memories from. One morning we went to the t-shirt shop in town and Nana and Papa got them each a sports Chelan shirt/sweatshirt, which we always did each year.
Although I remember vacations in Chelan being a lot more RELAXING... Having a 3 and 1 year old camping in hot weather, keeping them entertained and on our campsite and area at the lake, sleeping on a air mattress under the stars with Crew, really wasn't putting me in a relaxing vacation feeling :) Oh and I think being 6 1/2 months pregnant added to that too, ha ha. I think I came home more exhausted than I have been in a long time.
It was worth it though!!! Tonight a day and a half later I can say that :) Thanks Nana and Papa for having us over to Chelan, it was GREAT!!

Waterslides and More Bay Pics

On Thursday night we were back out at the bay and Josh, Stacey and Cole also came out for awhile. It was a very hot night so the boys had fun with the hose. They were soaked and very dirty.
Cole and Brody earned their bath that night from all the dirt and sand they had all over them.
On Friday Chris' work has BP day at the Birch Bay Water slides so we decided to take the boys for a couple hours. We were only there for maybe 2 1/2 hours, but that was plenty! Crew had a blast and we could barely keep him from sprinting up and down the water slides. Chris and I just took turns catching him and watching Brody.

Brodes had fun in the kiddy pool area, didn't really want to do too many water slides.
Brodes, what a little stud :)

Kids at Crew's House!

Since Chris took a few vacation days this week we decided to BBQ at our house. Aaron and Chris work opposite shifts at BP so we don't get together with Aaron and Shannon very often because of that. So we decided to have them, and the Stacy's and Turrell's over.
Cole and Brodes chowing down

The boys in their typical location, playing cards
The kids had a lot of fun, and Crew was especially excited since they were coming over to his house! He loves the "kids" and gets all fired up over it. They had a lot of fun racing up and down the alley on the ride on toys too.

Good shot Brody
We ended up staying up until midnight and roasted some smores on our new little firepit Chris got for his birthday.

Down by the Bay with Price's

This weekend we spent some time down at Birch Bay with Chris' family. They rented a house right on the water, and it was very nice!
Brodes playing in the sand, the kids spent a lot of time playing outside in the sand, rocks, and walking and jumping off logs. The house was right on the water, so it was great!
Uncle Cole and Becca kept the boys going all weekend with rough play and lots to do. Becca also got a lot of great pictures with my "dream" camera so I will update those when they get back next week.
Papa Charlie and Cruiser around and around and around the big logs...

Lots of relaxing and playing cribbage and enjoying the nice weather.
Brody and Daddy
Enjoying some treats from the C Shop

Brody loved Memi's lasagna! I think he ate it for every meal except breakfast!
We packed a lot of gear for the weekend and Brody liked crawling inside the bag, I think the bags that Memi and Papa got them for Christmas could fit both kids and their stuff inside each one! Perfect for the amount of stuff that I like to pack!
We also had some visitors while we were there, Aaron and Shannon live 2 minutes from the Bay so they brought the girls down for an afternoon. They are coloring some of the shells that they found.
Yummy cookies!
Finnley, Crew, Brody, Emery, and Hayden all playing the sand.

The last day and half we were there were kind of overcast, but still decent weather. We had a lot of fun visiting Memi and Papa and Cole and Becca. I especially enjoyed relaxing with some extra help from everyone.

MORE PICS!
Beautiful sunset by the fire

Around and around the fire pit...

What an AWESOME WEEK! It was nice to be able to go out and visit and spend some time with family so close to home, and yet it was so nice to get away. Thanks Memi and Papa!
