Last Hurrah Before School

School snuck up on us this year, with kind of a wimpy summer it almost felt like we got a little gypped, but none the less we are living up the last little bit!  So with this great sunny weather we have been having we have been taking full advantage of pool days, getting the slippin slide out, and some summer nights running through the sprinklers.
We had quite the neighbor crowd the other day, minus Jack and Jovie, where we got a ton of soap on the slip n slide and the kids had a good ole time!  Enough fun and craziness to retire the slip in slide because of a rip, the dang things are made so cheap these days!
I think this night I had them all winded down and ready for bed, but dad said.... Any excuse to get a good run in those sprinklers!  Of course Ky Ky's was already in bed like a good boy!

Crew way to ruin the picture bud!  He told me afterwards he did it on purpose...
Chris and Rob--running a daddy daycare over here in Bradley Fields.  You can ask for their rates, if you don't mind if they pop open a beer or two while lounging in the back watching the WHOLE neighborhood ride our riding cars and play outside...Along with Bill they have managed to create many late nights with the kids running around, while they played crib and listened to music.  They seem to have everything under control, or so they think...pretty funny!

With school starting this week, I can only help and be a little anxious about how the new schedule will play out...Just want to get a start on things and get the first days of Kindergarten, Preschool, Kyler in daycare, work for me, and the first home game in order...I love a good routine and we have had nothing close to any kind of routine for a while now...SO if school means FALL, candles, wind and some rain, cool crisp mornings and evenings, football, and volleyball, I won't argue with that!!!

Cole & Rebecca Price

Well it is official, the VanPrice family has become the Price's, good choice... :)  The wedding, and festivities and events leading up the wedding could not have gone any better.  The day of the wedding was the hottest day all summer, which was a little hot, but was so perfect when 7:00 rolled around. It was cool, and bright and sunny with beautiful scenery, getting married up on the driving range at Homestead.  We are so happy for Cole, Becca, and Kader!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Both Cole and Becca were super calm and relaxed, and the only fast paced part of the day was during pictures when we had to get our boys in the mix.  Good thing for Ivanna, she was a huge part of the day by helping with the kids so that Chris and I could do our bridesmaid and groomsmen stuff, and she had the kids and brought them up for pictures, and home again, and back again, etc.. Kade even got to spend the night at our house the boys were super excited about that.  Kade made the perfect and sweetest little ring bearer, and I can't wait to get some pictures from the photographer because I don't even have one of the little stud man himself.  I missing a lot of key pics, but I did okay considering we were all involved in the wedding...
This song was sung by a good friend of theirs at the wedding, so I thought it was fitting to listen to it while looking at the pics ;)

What a week!  The wedding week was fair week, friends from out of town, a 2 day conference for me in Renton... What a month really, planning and getting ready for this special day.  The Van Ry Family sure knows how to have a good time, and really has been a blast to spend so much time with.  The wedding and the rehearsal were both just filled with family, fun, and great memories. The Price family is now complete, except for maybe a few more kiddos some day... :)

Down by the Bay

Chris had a good college friend, Nate "Worm" come visit, so we decided to get everyone together for the day and a BBQ.  We had the whole Price and Turrell families, and Worm and his new wife Ginger who we got to meet for the first time.  He surprised us when visiting last December by placing a Christmas card on our fridge with a picture of him and her at their wedding.  Only Worm's style, but we were so excited to meet her, and what a perfect fit!

Of course the day wasn't going to be complete without plenty of popsicles, snacks, tide flats, sand, water, bouncy house, boat rides, fires, more popsicles, and the pool to get the kids completely dirty and beyond tired.  I captured my favorite pictures of all time at the very end of this post... :)

Josh and Stacey have a great place out at the bay, and we always have the best time out there!  Lots of pics, enjoy!

7th time...maybe we are starting something new, fine by me, he is only going to be 2 in less than 2 months:)
Oh Bo Bo's....
Very, very tired boys who had such a fun day in the warm sun out at the bay.  Late nights this summer, but we can't complain!
