A Night Out

We met up with Rachel and Jeff, and Tanis, and her sister and boyfriend the other night at the Bob's in Birch Bay. It was a lot of fun to get away for dinner, something we probably need to do more often!!
Crew went and spent the night at Poppa and Memi's and Brody was at home with a babysitter.

Christmas Day at Price's

Chris had to work Christmas Day this year so the boys and I hung out in the morning playing with the new gifts they had gotten from the day before and relaxing. We ended up going out to Price's in the afternoon after nap time and Chris ended up meeting us out there.

The boys in their vests, getting ready to go to Christmas!
Memi and Brody
Uncle Cole and Brody, Cruiser was running somewhere :)
Crew got totally spoiled once again this year, here is his new barn that he loves so much. We had to have Papa Charlie bring out a few of the gifts he got the next morning because we couldn't fit them all in the Tahoe. Some of his favorites are; big wheel car, cars stuff, buzz light year, and Brody got a ride on toy. Great Grandma Gloria did her share of spoiling the boys too. We are so lucky!
The boys opening all their fun new gifts. Thanks everyone!!

Christmas Eve with the Roberts

Nana had to get the boys Santa hats to wear during Christmas, but as you can see they are both trying to find ways to get rid of them :) Very cute!
Where is Brody?

Brody giving his goofy cheeser smile. He was such a good boy.

Crew got a football bean bag chair last year, so my mom at the same time bought a basketball one knowing that we would be having another kid. So Brody got the basketball one for Christmas and sat very happily in it when we all opened presents. Brody also got Noah's Ark w/ animals, and wood train/puzzle.

What is next? More presents for Crew? :)

One of his favorite presents of the evening was the radio flyer scooter, he was cruisin everywhere on it, he also loved his match box cars, puzzles, fire truck, and many more :).
Auntie Rae and Uncle Jeff.
It was a really fun night over all, mom made a good dinner, we opened gifts, and played some games. The night always goes way too fast! Chris had the video camera going, so I didn't really take very many pictures this year....

Christmas Eve Morning

We decided to do our gifts on Christmas Eve morning, since we are going to my parents tonight, Chris works during the day tomorrow, and we are going to Chris' parents tomorrow night. Here is Crew and all of his presents... I really only needed to get him one present because after he opened his favorite present first, the Mac Truck hauler from the movie Cars, he didn't care about opening any of his other gifts!
Crew got: Mac Truck Hauler and other cars and figurines from the movie "Cars", big 4 foot fire truck puzzle, books, tractor with trailer, cars pj's, sports wallet, matchbox cars, ornament, Shrek the movie, he wasn't spoiled by us or anything :)

What lucky boys! I love Christmas too!
Brody opening his stocking... he found some little boats for the bath :)

Here Crew is helping Brody open his presents, Brody got only a few things... He got this ball popper (thanks Jess for the idea), an activity table, and a book.
Brody again was just more content chewing on the paper in his nice and cozy Christmas pajamas!
One of the best things we woke up to this morning was over a foot of NEW snow! We got more snow last night and it is still snowing right now, than we got all of this past week. Huge flakes, it was so pretty, and the wind wasn't blowing so Cruiser was all about going outside to play in the snow.
How cool that we actually get a white Christmas this year! Chris and I are going to get a garage freezer for Christmas for each other, and we also exchanged a few other smaller gifts!

Family Time!

Great Grandma Gloria is up for the whole week, so we have been loving that! We over to Price's the other night for dinner, and had lots of fun!
Papa Charlie even insisted that Crew open one of his presents early, Crew got this "Cars" race track and played with it nonstop for like an hour. Crew wouldn't let Brody get too close to his new toy either :)

We haven't really had stockings since Crew was born, so this year I ordered some from Pottery Barn Kids, and had them personalized. I love them!

Brody is starting to tolerate this tummy time more, maybe he will crawl soon? Or not :) He also got one of his "fangs" I teeth in. Just like his mama :)

Snow Days!

We have had the last couple days off of school because of the snow and wind. Christmas break has officially started, got to love the teacher calendar :) So I got the boys bundled up in their snow gear and tried to go outside. Here is Brody and Crew at the same age in their snow suit.... :) I love going back to look at pictures of Crew at Brody's age too!
Mom I am stuck!! I can't move in this thing! Brody is 7 months old today, Happy Birthday Brodes!

It took 20 minutes to get everyone dressed and ready to take on the cold weather, so we had to sit down and take a break before we went outside!
Little did we know all that work to get us dressed would last 2 minutes tops! You can see Crew trying to brave the wind, but that north easterly wind was blowing so hard! So back inside we went!

Santa's Bakers

Tonight I had Tanis and Rachel over for dinner and some cookie baking. I thought it might be fun to wear some aprons, and make it even more festive :)
Brody getting his first taste of frosting and he wasn't quite too sure what to do with it.

Crew mostly just wanted to keep licking off all the frosting, he was a big help!

The gang! It was so much fun, we definitley will have to make this an annual event!
The boys were spoiled by Tanis, and she brought them over 3 new Christmas books. THANKS! It was a late night, and we even got to watch the Biggest Loser finale, which is my favorite show :)

Roberts Family Christmas 2008

We are very lucky to have all of our family right here in town, so we get to celebrate Christmas the whole month! Last weekend we had the DeJager family Christmas (mom's side) and today we had the Roberts family Christmas (dad's side). Next weekend we the Price family :) Then on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we are with our immediate families.

Crew and Brody with their pretty bows :)
They are going to hate me when they are older, always making them hug and give each other "loves"!
Crew would have never have kept that on his head if it weren't for his brother getting attention for it!
Brody was content chewing on paper, and in this picture the train track. He got a second tooth this past week and is working on some more. He has been fussy the past few days and that is not like him.
Why do you want me to smile mom, can't you see I am busy?

Wow, COOL! Crew and Brody got a 120 piece train set from Great Grandpa and Grandpa Roberts for Christmas. Chris and I went in on it with them and he also got a train table too! Crew has been loving his trains lately all of which have been given to him from them. My Grandpa Roberts really enjoys trains too, so it is such a special gift to pass on!
Thanks for such a special night Grandma and Grandpa!!!

December Days...

Before their pictures last week, I took some of my own in front of our tree. I can't believe it is almost Christmas!
What is wrong with this picture? He was even batting at the toys hanging from this, silly boy!

Sweet Brodes. Asleep on the couch during all of the action.
Dad and Brody, chillin on the coach before bed.

Lighted Christmas Parade

We ended up going to the lighted Christmas parade in town, and just our luck it was pouring down rain! So Kassi's sister rents out an apartment that overlooks downtown Lynden, so we were able to watch from inside, it was awesome!
The best part, Crew got to be with his buddy Lane, and Tay
Tay did so good with having the boys sit on her lap during the parade!
Ohhh Awww! The loved every minute of it. My camera wasn't able to take pictures of the floats and lights through the windows, but it was pretty cool :)

BP Family Christmas

Chris' work, BP, puts on this family Christmas party at the fairgrounds. There was EVERYTHING there, from big jump pits, to basketball hoops, cake walks, tattoos, crafts, food, free prizes and door prizes, tons of people, and most importantly Santa was there! Every kid got a chance to sit on Santa's lap and get their picture taken and a present. We got Brody on Santa's lap and Crew just freaked out and ran away. Go figure!!
If our house was bigger we would definitely have one of these :)
This gun shot discs and you had to aim it at a moving target...
The famous cake walk
As you can see to the left of Crew is a person dressed up as a wolf, Crew did not realize that was there next to him, not a moment later he turned and looked next to him, and ran away. He is totally freaked of anything in costume. Wimp!
