Kyle and Michelle's Wedding

Chris' best friend since elementary school, Kyle, got married down in Bow.  The wedding was at Michelle's grandparents house, and the reception was across the field at her parents house.  We left Kys and Brodes behind because Chris was the best man, I was the ceremony coordinator, and Cruiser was the ring bear.  Being in charge of rehearsal and all the odds and ends on the day of the wedding left me running everywhere, but it was a lot of fun to see everything from start to finish and everything went really well.  Crew was a good boy, we were a little worried just because he can so goofy and crazy, but he listened and walked down the aisle and stood in front by Chris like a champ!  Good job buddy!  Growing up myself with the Axelson family, Courtney being my best friend, we both have a lot of history and memories with the family, so it was just a fun day for all of us!
Day of the wedding there really early to help get everything ready to go!
We were finding good places for pictures, ha :)
Court and lil Kendall
Poor Kendallita she had a rough go with wanting her dress on, she ended up not walking down the aisle with the other flower girls, but was sooooo cute!
The Stacy's
Kyle and Court--they were the best man and maid of honor in our wedding 7 years ago :)
Oh what a little stud man Cruiser!
Crew is always trying to make Kendall laugh and cheer her up
Crew, 'the 3 girls' the Claey's girls who were also flower girls, and Cole man
They had an AWESOME live band, and the kids had a blast movin and groovin...you don't have to tell Crew twice...Oh I guess this pic was taken BEFORE the dance started, they were getting warmed up as people were trying to pass by and get their food...
The bathroom was just too far away!
The Claey's Fam
The Price Fam--minus 2
Tolo pose again, oh geez!
Swanson and Babes

So cute!
Congrats Kyle and Michelle!
Chris and his speech...that's a whole other post....goodness :)
That tongue again..

What a night!  We were so exhausted the next day, but so happy how everything went and had a great time seeing people that we haven't seen in a while and being apart of Kyle and Michelle's special day.

SURPRISE 35th!

With a summer packed full of festivities, Becca and I still wanted to get in a dinner to celebrate Chuck and Leslie's 35th Wedding Anniversary...With not a lot of open dates even just between Cole's, Becca's, and Chris' night schedules, we were able to pull together a SURPRISE dinner at out Semiahmoo.  Since Becca works there it was awesome to get this set up and view.  We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening, the weather was gorgeous...
I still can't believe we had them fooled, the timing was perfect because the boys had just gotten back from Cole's bachelor party, and Chuck and Leslie were trying to cancel the dinner thinking that there was just too much going on, little did they know that 25 people would be waiting there to wish them a happy anniversary!  They were shocked!
Mingling before dinner
Yep we pulled it off, good thing we have some girls in this family that know how to plan and make things happen!
CONGRATS WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Ha--classic Tolo pose, and these boys are just a bunch of dorks!
Ready for your big day..!

Marriage is a big deal, and sometimes we take for granted that people are just married for another year.  But 35 years really says something!  My parents have been married for almost 33 years, and my grandparents are going on 53 years.  It is so valuable to see examples of these kinds of people in our lives!

Glad we had such a great evening, and thank you to everyone that could make it to help this be such a special evening....

Crescent Bar

Going into this summer we never had a family vacation planned because of all the weddings and festivities that go along with those, and Chris schedule at work...But I swear it was a total God thing running into my cousin at swimming lessons 2 weeks before and asking her about how things were going with summer rentals at their condo at Crescent Bar.  She then told me, well we just got this middle of week cancellation, and no joke that was the only 5 days all summer that it would have worked for us to do anything as family.  I was so excited and we booked it right away.  We SO NEEDED this vacation, it seemed like Chris had been working a ton, and we were so busy with other things that we had spent little time just together.  It was perfect!

Which brought on a whole other situation, last vacation we took last summer we had 2 vehicles because Chris came later, so we could fit all of our stuff...So literally 4 days before we left for Crescent Bar we decided to take advantage of the crazy deals on Suburbans right now, and got one!  With 3 kids, double stroller, ice chests, toys, golf clubs, etc, we had outgrown the Tahoe, and are so happy with our new Burb!

Another extra bonus for our trip was my sister, aka the Deuce, got to come as well.  Which was so clutch in the drives both ways for helping with the boys, and just an extra hand while we were there. Plus she is just great to have around, being 9 years younger than me we haven't had a ton of bonding time, and it was a great trip for all of us...

So pictures galore!  ENJOY!
Loaded up in the Burb
We all fit, including Crew tucked behind Brody.  The boys are known for not 'traveling well', but I do have to say they did so much better!  We only had one puker, and that was only on the way home.  We did have to take lots of stops on the way there because Brody's tummy was not feeling very good though, poor guy, I feel their pain, I still get horribly carsick to this day.
Gotta love the dvd player
Sleeping in real minimal in our family while driving, Brodes slept for about 20 min, Kyler for about 10 min (4th time seeing his eyelids, no joke), on the way there and back combined.  5 hour drive, crazy kids!
We love, love, loved Crescent Bar, we have been going to Chelan for quite a few years, and I have been trying to talk Chris into coming here for awhile, but now I think he is sold.  You can't beat the setup they have with the condos, grass space, and pools, and that fact that the kids are locked in the complex, and locked out of the pools.
Beautiful
Crew would have been in the pool all day if we would have let him, he even had band mark tan lines on his arms from the water wings.
Duece and Cruiser
Hot tub time!
We definitley took advantage of the yummy ice cream shop as well!
The river bar was a great place to hang out too, throwing rocks in and wading in the water...
Kys loves to put on everyone else's shoes
Lots of room to wrestle, play games and run!
Me and my brother and sister.  My brother and Rachel came over for part of the day to hang out, it was so fun having them visit
One of the main things that sold Chris was the golfing, him and boys went everyday, they had a great time
My boys
Playing in the kiddie pool
Brodes wasn't too sure about swimming, he loved just being in the smaller pool, he is kind of a chicken like his dad :)
Fishing?
Kys ran EVERYWHERE, ALL the time!  Crazy child!
Chris got to pitch a lot of balls during the week, it was fun for the boys to have other kids to play with as well
Bo Bo's and his M&M and movie wind down time!
I love my family!!!
