Razz Fest 3 on 3

Am I really posting about Crew playing in the Razz Fest?  Do I really have a child old enough?  Wow my big boy is really growing up, and seeing him play in this fun tournament is just the start to the many days ahead with these kinds of activities with our boys.  

Kindergarten is the starting age where you can play, so we jumped on it, and got a team together.  The boys had a blast, and us parents got pretty into to, it is so cute to watch them out there, learning to play together as a team, and most of all just have FUN!  Their age group only played Friday, but they did play 4 games, and man they were wiped out when the afternoon was done.

Coach Blake (Westyn's dad) was the main coach, and Chris helped out because he had to work too.  They called their team the 'Lion's Cubs' and we had fun getting their jerseys with their names and numbers on the back.  Of course Crew wanted his mommy's number, ha, but he originally wanted number 12...  "Crew why do you want #12?"  "Well mom, that is how high I can count, is that cool?"  Okay, not okay, you don't want to admit that, Crew lets stop practicing basketball and work on counting!!

Crew's biggest fans!  Not!!!  They wanted snacks, they wanted to run, and were doing everything they were NOT suppose to be doing! :)

Papa and Kys

Trey one of Crew's buddies and him got a little rough in one of the games, they played basketball together, preschool, and we know his parents, and they are always constantly picking at each other non stop.   They are a lot alike as fas as energy goes, and of course they were guarding each other and one thing lead to another and both dads pulled them out of the game, and they both got really embarassed and got upset.  Lesson learned!

Good job team!  Brodes really wanted in on the action, he is more than ready to be on a team just like Crew!

I am sure before I know it all 3 of them will be out there playing on teams, it is such a fun tournament.  Love that our community has things like this to take part in.
