Boys on Break

Love the timing of brand new baby, winter rainy/cold weather, no school or activities, equals 4 kids inside the condo bursting at the seems.  Don't get me wrong I LOVE Christmas break, I LOVE my kids, but it would have been nice to ease Beckett into things a little better. Thank goodness Chris had a good part of the break off to help.

Chris took the 3 older boys all over and kept them as busy as possible. Between going swimming at Homestead, going to Memi's school gym and the high school gym, and playing outside any chance of somewhat decent weather made the days easier.

Good thing Beckett has been such a good baby, God must have known we needed him to be this way.  There was just no way around it, Beckett is going to have to learn to be ON THE GO!  Nap schedules, feeding times, are kind of out the window.  If someone has to be somewhere and he's sleeping, too bad, in the car seat he goes, and we are off.  I think my best time so far is to get all 4 kids and myself ready for church in 40 minutes without Chris.  Now that was stressful.  Why I did that is beyond me! Other than that planning to do things just takes that much longer with a newborn again, on top of 3 boys that like to take their sweet time cooperating and cause a lot of drama in the process.  So unless its really that necessary we are mostly at home for now!
My sweet babes... Oh how I love him! I could sit and stare at him all day!
Boys got a lot of use out of their new kindle fires, and of course the iPad
Brody was thrilled to have baby Beckett matching him in his spidey outfit.  Poor Beck I would be scared too with that glove!
Taking his job seriously!
First visit to Zak and Kendall's house!
Crew is always checking on Becks to see how he is doing--good protector
Kendall and KyKy
Zak and Beck!  Love having our kiddos so close in age!  These boys will have a lot of fun times together in the future!
Little Brother
My two B's!
Brody says Beckett looks just like him, he loves his baby brother
He is such an old man!
Brody hasn't let the new baby get in the way of his Spice time...
My FOUR Boys!  Wow!  How did I get so lucky?!
What mom with a newborn wants to voluntarily stay up until midnight?  Not this one!  So for New Years we had an early celebration at the Marti's.  Chris and I actually got to have a dinner out with just Beckett while Aimee babysat and took the other kids to the jump zone.  After that we headed over the Marti's for a little fun.  Ice cream sundaes and kids being wild and crazy!
Mart and Ky- I think Mart Mart out eats the whole group! :)
It's snowing!  Geez this winter is SUPER LAME!  First sign of a snow flake the kids are geared up and outside.
Gotta go potty Ky?
Me and my Cruiser--toothless and silly
Time for some matching!
"Mom's favorite gift"
It's a miracle, CREW LEARNED HOW TO TIE HIS SHOES!!!!! WOOHOO!!!  And if you think I taught him your crazy, talk about anxiety! Good job DAD!
Superhero's painting superhero's we don't stray too far out of the box in this house...
True love!

Let's just say when January rolled around, I was more than ready for a routine!  We had a great time testing out this whole new family thing with everyone home in our condo, and I was ready for some space and structure!

December Random Fun

Our church Christmas program is so cute!  Brody's first time and the 3/4 year olds just sang a song before the main program started.  Chris was in charge of getting the pictures taken, while I had 6 day old baby Becks to watch sleep every so soundly... :)  Tough job!
Bobo in the blue/white plaid, getting ready to sing!
So cute!
And then there is Cruiser, he started out GREAT and since the program lasts the full service it can be pretty long for the younger kids, so we caught him yawning and not paying attention to all the motions... hmmm..  We had to laugh.  He tried hard! :)
All ready to go in his church outfit. I was just proud that we all made it out of the house on time with so much going on!  This family of 6 is a workout!
I love this picture, our Halloween costumes get used year around in our house.  I enjoy being home with these boys getting to see their imaginations play out!  Except for some reason superhero's always seem to get into fights! :)
Dodge ball time!  I will never forget Crew's face when he comes running into the house with the flyer for dodge ball all excited for me to play with him again this year.  Little did he know it was a week before I was due to have Beckett, and I had to break it to him slowly that mom really wasn't in dodge ball "shape".  Good thing Kassi sold him on coming after school and hanging out with Lane and she took both of them.  We will get em next year buddy!
BoBice cousin Bryce turns 1!  Gotta love some wrestle time...
A new trick they try to pull off, 3 way piggy back ride!
We got him matching pj's to be apart of the superhero club!
We visited Santa at John Deere.  Brody jumped right up and told Santa everything he wanted, wasn't shy at all, and Kys was not having it, ran the other way.
At least there was cookie and popcorn in the deal!

Along with trying to keep the kids busy and entertained, I was on my last days of pregnancy ready to get this baby out of me!  We also had the Roberts and DeJager Family extended family Christmas' which I did not get any pics of.   Gotta love the craziness of the season!

Christmas Everywhere

Having a December baby was something I didn't think I would ever chose considering the busyness of the season.  But actually it made everything that much more special and memorable.  Now being days from having a baby, to being days post baby wasn't the best shape I wanted to be in all the family gatherings, but since when is it about me anyways? :)  Beckett was here, healthy, and our family was complete, we had a lot to be thankful for this Christmas.  Christmas wouldn't be complete without a stocking for the little man, so I ordered one in November which made everything seem that much more real.
Grandpa Roberts would have enjoyed seeing this with the train
We had our own Christmas morning on Christmas Eve morning.  Stockings first, and you can barely see baby Beckett laying underneath his stocking which is bigger than him!
Lots of excitement!
Seahawks beanie!
Becks just chilled in the background
Brody's favorite present was some spider man wall decals
New pajamas!

We had a nice morning as we opened gifts, relaxed, and ate some breakfast casserole and sticky buns. Yum!  Crew loved his new sports posters for his room and his Madden Football game for the Wii. Brodes was big into his remote control Spider man on a motorcycle, and his pajamas.  Ky's was more than thrilled to get some new "bad guys" too!

Christmas Eve Night-Roberts Family
Nana got him this outfit before he was born to wear specially for Christmas Eve, our sweet little Reindeer!
Never too big for dad's lap
Out cold! (big difference to pictures from Christmas 3 years ago when we traveled with our big exercise ball and we were constantly bouncing Kyler and had him tightly wrapped)
BIG BOY bike!  Cool!
Brodes has the butt wiggle down to get the razor trike a movin!  Classic moves Bobo!
Traditional chocolate letters
Cousin Bryce decked out in spidey pajamas just like his cousins!

We had a nice night with lots of yummy food, nothing is better than Nana's ham, sweet potatoes, buns, and all the appetizers and treats.  The kids played fairly well and had lots of fun while the adults played left, right, center for some competitive prizes :)

Christmas Morning-Price Family
Spidey was very happy with a Batman toy, Ben 10 watch, and a Spidey chest light, cool!
Ky loves snatching up butterflies in this game!
Kader checking out his new T-Rex, scary!
Kader and Kys best buds!  For the moment!  Looks like T-Rex is going to eat Leo the Ninja Turtle!
Papa's chair, prime spot!
And YES we got a WHITE CHRISTMAS, if you want to call .5 inch of snow white.  But none the less around noon we got to see some pretty snow flakes coming down.  So pretty!
I guess it doesn't take much snow to get everyone outside and jumping around in it either.
WATCH OUT!  Snow ball coming right at me, too bad the door is the way Crusier!
Kennadi, Beckett, and Kallen the babies of the group!  They are such good babies right now, just wait until we add these 3 to the mix as toddlers causing havoc like their brothers!

Brunch is always a hit Christmas morning, we had a great time watching the kids enjoy their gifts and spending time together in our comfy sweats and drinking coffee.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!
