Brody's Tubes

We have been anxiously awaiting for Brody to finally get his tubes put in his ears. He has had 7+ ear infections this past year, and has not been able to get rid of this last infection for over 2 months.
He was so good, and the hat didn't last long! I don't think he really needed it anyway!

The hardest part about the morning was the fact that he couldn't eat. We had to get there an hour before the surgery, which seemed like two hours of trying to entertain a hungry baby, in very small room.
Good thing there were a few things to play with. Brody did great for his surgery, and the whole procedure only took about 15 minutes. He cried for about 10 minutes in the recovery room and was very happy to see his mama and drink a bottle. Within 30 minutes we were on our way home and he is going so good.
The doctor was very impressed with the way the surgery went, and was glad that we did it. He had a right ear infection currently, and his left ear had really thick fluid in it. Even when Brody has recovered from his ear infections he has always still had fluid in his ears, so having this surgery will really help him. His overall balance and hearing are going to be much better, and he will most likely sleep through the night more consistently! Praise the Lord!!

I am glad the surgery went well. How did he sleep last night? Only a couple more days and he will be 1! That's crazy! Love ya!
