A Week of "Firsts"

Crew in Kyler's face once again! He is so sweet in the way he talks to him and Kyler will actually try to find Crew now when Crew is talking.

Things are continuing to "look up" and improve for Kyler. Thank goodness! We have seen most of this change due to our continued use of the chiropractor, and I think he may be finally outgrowing the worse of it.

Here are some things that we got really excited about!

• He has slept the last 4 nights from 10 pm-4 am!
• He made his first car trip across town without screaming (although that is still the only time)
• He ate a bottle without having to be tightly swaddled
• He wakes up sometimes without screaming, and will just be content for awhile before wanting to be picked up
• He is taking at least 1-2 naps a day in his swing :)
• We were able to take him to a public place (McDonald's) and he actually feel asleep in his car seat! WOW!
• He is more content to just lay on the couch or in your lap without having to be swaddled or constantly bounced
• He is so HAPPY and gives us HUGE wide open smiles and coos a lot! Love this!!!

So as Kys becomes more a "normal" baby we are so happy and pray for his continued small successes! Hopefully we can start taking him to church and other places besides our parents house's. We head back to Children's next week for another follow up appointment to see how things are going since he is still on his special formula and prevacid.
