The bus ride again was a highlight and my little boy is still not too proud to have his mom sit right next to him. He even saved me a seat and told me about 10 times on the way out ther that he loved me so much, and how excited he was that I could come with him. So just being there one-on-one with him just made my day, and even my week. Time is so precious these days, and we definitely had a good time.
Crew got to pick out his own pumpkin, find candy in the hay, listen to stories, snack time, and play with the animals...He even got to walk a goat on a rope!
But the BEST PART was....we came home with the newest member of our family, Pumpkin Patch Price! Yes a cute little kitten. I am a total sucker (you too Tara!), and have been wanting a new cat for sometime, and they just happened to have the cutest kittens ever! What a surprise Chris came home too...although he tried to act like he was a little upset, but couldn't hide the smile... After some thought on what to name the little guy, Crew's first idea of "Jesus" wasn't doin it, so we thought of "pumpkin" because of his coloring and that we got him from the pumpkin patch.

Brodes just adores him, although pumpkin is still getting use to him :)
Crew even put him to sleep, and gets to feed him, and takes really good care of him.
This is Pumpkin's favorite spot...between the wall and the couch, out of harms way...

Overall it is going to be hard to top that field trip, and has made this weekend even more interesting by having a meowing kitty the kids are constantly chasing, and I am protecting...
Crew is loving preschool, and has made a lot of changes since last year. He is so much more detailed orientated with work, and cares how things turn out, he also is doing great with behavior and following directions which is our main concern. Good job buddy! Now we need to start focusing more on the academic side of things... :)

This is hilarious! Poor Pumpkin... While he is SO dang cute I can understand why he found his new favorite spot! Crusier just can't stop 'loving' that guy! 'Where's my cat?' 'I don't know Crew why don't you ask Becca where he is.' haha Oh Crew... Sometimes people as well as animals need to rest! Not that he understands that concept! Cole still says no... Maybe we should just do it!
That is so cool, I love being able to surprise the kids...and that they are at an age where they are totally excited to see us and not embarrassed which is probably coming soon! We took Sage to the cider mill and they had baby bunny's, so being the sucker that we are, we couldn't say no to her, and since we got her on our Anniversary we named her Anna. For a rabbit she is very tame, she let's sage carry her by the head, roll her on her back to pet her stomach and man handle her, where most rabbit's won't. She even litter box trained herself when she is in the house. She has a nice "Log Cabin" in the garage...can't wait to see the kid's costumes...Sage is going as a hamburger, I will be a hotdog, and Jeramy as a ketchup bottle...lol
