Raindrops, Reflux, and Rough Housing

Little details are the things that keep me laughing and smiling throughout the day in the Price house.  These boys are WILD!
So about those "raindrops" as Brody calls them.  Mr. Brodes has a very sensitive side if 'sour' isn't out, and cries very easily when he gets his feelings hurt.  Most kids just wipe away their tears, but Brody makes a big deal if his eyes are wet at all, and has to have me get a towel for his "raindrops" as he calls them.  But mom, my raindrops... ;)  Love him.
Brody's favorite thing right now is Kristin's house, he asks everyday if gets to go there again, and has a blast with his 'brother' Christopher (Kristin's son...)  Best buds.  He is doing great with preschool, and is very proud of his work that he takes home.
Kys!  Reflux, duh!?  So New Years Eve night I was talking to my good friend Care (thank God), and it all hit me like a ton of bricks that Kyler needed to be back on his prevacid for his reflux.  Those crying fits during the days, up 2-3 times a night, and not eating well were not just his demanding temperament, but he was in actual pain.... Poor guy.  A complete 180 over here, he sleeps through the night, he is much happier and is starting to eat better.  He is still very stuck on limited foods, but I can see overall improvement.  I thank God for moments like these.  A little thing we missed, turned into a HUGE deal!  Doctor agreed too, for some reason we had taken him off after getting his ear tubes because we thought he had out grown his reflux and the ears were the sole problem... but that mother instinct made me go and wake him up out of his sleep that same night I was talking to Care to give him some of his left over dose from when he was one.  The rest is history :)  Oh but don't you worry, there is still plenty of the old Ky left--some things even the best medicine can't change! :)
Sometimes we run ourselves so tired that nap times aren't long enough or don't exist. It is not very often I get to witness this.
Perfect timing when dad walks in the door, pure joy and ready for the next tackle!
