Lynden Action Soccer 2012

We switched things up with soccer this year and decided to try the Lynden Action group because the kids play 4 on 4 with no goalie, and are basically going the whole time, with very little down time.  Crew got to be on the same team as our neighbor boy Anthony, and his parents coached the team which was nice being so close and for carpooling.  Gannon was also on the team, which made the games more fun too!

Crew improved a lot, they all did!  He always tried hard and hustled, and ended up with some great saves, and a handful of goals throughout the season too.  He is getting more and more aware of how the game actually works, and not just running around chasing the ball. :)

Crew does love soccer, we will see though how it works into next fall because in 1st grade they have the option to play flag football, and next spring he can play coach pitch baseball....As long as he is active doing something to burn that energy it is up to him! This kid literally left every game completely wiped out, it was so good for him.
