Gymstars!

If you know Brody you know the kid is constantly, jumping off of very high places, doing somersaults, jumping flips, and makes obstacle courses out of the park play areas on the monkey bars on rings.  So we have been talking about for awhile to give him a chance to really use some of his agility in gymnastics, always joking that we would see him in the Olympics someday!  Ha. 

Gymstars out in Ferndale has a great preschool class and was really good for us to do once a week for a session. Although at that age it is more about following directions and learning some basic tumbling moves which was perfect.  Brody has a BLAST and was so excited to see Teacher Caroyln every Tuesday.  Teacher Carolyn and I both agree he is more than ready for a skilled class, which doesn't start until they are 5 or so.  But thought we could give it a try in a couple months and see how he does. Do I really think that he is going to be a gymnast, probably not, but I want him to be able to see how far he wants to go with it because he gets so much out of it, and has so much fun.  So we shall see what moves he will be demonstrating next, it is always just a tad scary at home... :)

Kys made for some interesting classes, not so happy about side lining it with all of that fun equipment to play on... "I want to do NASTICS!!"

At the end of the sessions they all get stickers and stamps, Kys was able to jump in on that part

I was bummed this video was not very clear, but Brody is the dude in the green shirt. They are not suppose to be doing any flips, and this little rebel was always trying to show off!

We had some mama and Brodes bonding time and even got to enjoy some Costco pizza and other fun trips after class

We have one more week left and we hope to get back into it in the spring, and maybe Kys can get in on the fun too- hopefully we get a good baby that likes to be on the go!
