Right now we have Crew in swimming lessons on Tuesday and Thursday nights. His class is for 3-5 year
olds that are
beginning swimmers, and he loves it! He is the youngest in his class and that shows a little with his ability to focus and pay attention. Oh yeah that could be "Crew" too :)

All the kiddos getting into the pool. Crew is very excited when we get there and has to say hi to all the kids. He doesn't call them by their names, but just kids. He is a dork.

After the kids get into the pool all us parents then have to leave and we watch from upstairs. Which I think really helps, because if I was down there he would be even more naughty. Each week Crew has gotten better at listening to the teacher and following instructions. But Crew will be Crew and he keeps the life guard busy :)

They swim a lot with these noodles, and Crew has been known to bite a chunk or two out of them, or take an
occasional swing at another kid.....

Go Crew go! We are actually signing him up again for another 8 class session starting after this one ends. Hopefully he will be more comfortable in the water, he loves it and really has no fear. Being in this class environment is also is teaching him how to act with a teacher too, and will hopefully make preschool easier this fall.
He is also learning to know what is okay to do in front of other people and what isn't. Like the second night he started peeing in the shower in front of all the other kids because he does that at home, and well, that really isn't something you should do in front of the other kids CREW!
