We spent the majority of our time swimming or letting the kids run around and play while the adults tried to catch up and talk while making sure the kids didn't kill each other. With all these boys around there is ALOT of wrestling, chasing and non-stop movement, it's not relaxing at all but it sure is fun! The guys played golf one evening and the girls all went out to lunch one afternoon besides that we did whatever the kids wanted to do. Vacations sure are different now, but so happy to have these fun and crazy memories! I miss these girls so much and love getting together and catching up.
We got over to Crescent Bar a few days before everyone else and our good friends the Marti's have a house down the river, so it was the perfect opportunity to instead walk across the street and see them like we do almost every day, and just drive down the road and have our own river front property to have fun on the boat and swimming!

Friendly river dog that Kys friended
Me and Sarah
Lots of fun on the beach front
With $1 kiddie cones it is pretty hard to go a night/afternoon without a little treat!
One reason we headed over early was to get an extra day so we could drive over to Chelan which is about 1 hours and 15 minutes from Crescent Bar to go to the water slides. We love it there. After many years of carsick and fussy kids in the car, we found a solution with kids Bonine to help with the puking, and the trip over to Crescent Bar was puke free, hallelujah! Well I guess I wasn't very smart when thinking that we could drive an hour to Chelan and didn't need our meds, and I guess that was Kyler's way of telling us why he screamed almost the first 40 minutes of the trip, before letting loose and puking everywhere. Great start to the water slides, Day #2! But afterwards he was all happy and ready to have fun, "all better!" "mom I feel so better!" could my head ache be gone at that time too from all the screaming and smelling the puke? :)
Boys were ready to roll, sun blocked, water winged, and excited to be going down water slides. By the time I got our area set up up, Brody had been down a couple kiddy slides and was loving it, which made me so happy thinking okay, we are going to be great this year! 20 minutes later he comes back screaming, sliced his toe open really good, and even with some bandages, he really couldn't bring himself to recover, so we had some serious towel time and he could not imagine putting his toe back in that water with a band aid on, oh brother! Fast forward another 20 minutes after Kyler was doing awesome just putting around the toddler water area and he skins the top of all 4 toes in one big fall. I guess being worried about going down any water slides being pregnant wasn't an issue I would be faced with anymore. Oh well! Maybe water shoes next time?? The good news, Crew LOVED every second of the day, went down ALL the slides, and Chris had fun taking him. Jeff, Rae, and Bryce met up with us there for the day, so Crew had lots of fun going on slides with everyone.
Melt down mode-- eventually an ice cream cone helped matters for a bit...
Tube slides with Rae
Mom manning down the melt down spot
Back at the condos we just love the set up of the place we stay and is the biggest reason why we chose to come to Crescent Bar. Lots of room to play, people watch, and interact.
Kys is 'catching' on quick :)
Speedy BoBo's
Over at the Chases' place they basically had the pool to themselves during the week and the boys enjoyed playing ping pong which was hilarious because they made up all their own rules, and kept score in their special way.
My preggy tube...
Jess is the mom that is all about the crafts and does such an awesome job of planning little activities and has so much patience, wish I could have some of those creative ideas too!
A girl! Miss Sidney
Gavin, Jess, and Wyatt
Dale and Chris still take their competitions pretty seriously
I can't remember who won, but I am positive they do....
Care and Case
Love this
Kys really came around this trip with swimming... Our favorite quote "I can't BELIEVE IT, I am swimming by myself" He says it in the cutest way, he was so very proud. Brodes also was a fish and with his new confidence coming off swimming lessons he was swimming (with wings) face in the water, big kicks, jumping in all over the place, and just having a blast. It is SO much easier when the kids are loving the water!
Jax, Kendall, Colt, Crew, Kys, and Brodes
Kys and Jaxer
Case and Jax
Brodes with all his tumbling moves--we watched the Summer Olympics every night and he was getting a little too creative for his safety with trying some of the moves he had seen. He is something else!
Kendall- love her pose
Poor Case was not feeling the best this vacation!
Jax "Relax" was so chill, he cracks me up
Showing some 'tude' miss Kendallita!
Brodes and Colt man with their game faces on...
Wyatt and "Gru" is what Wyatt called him, played so well
Jess' parents were there, which was such a huge help, they were great with the kids and helping whenever they could! Randi and Tony also came up for a day with their 2 BOYS (add 2 to the number we started with) brand new baby Rocco....
And Luca with Kys
Beach day--again Jess has some planned dinosaur fossil find or something the kids thought was SO COOL!
Piss and Kendallita
Love the energy Colt! Fits right in :)
Oh Poor guy, how could I forget about this night, Ky caught a 24 hour flu bug, and puked straight through one of the nights and took a good 24 hours to recover. Not fun on vacation in general, and when you are cleaning and doing mass laundry in someones place. Now I am wondering if maybe that's how he managed to be the only one in the family that escaped this round of the flu we all got once school started...??
Deer on the golf course once the sun went down!
My 3 crazies
My hot pepper partner!
Me and Cruiser
Price and Pemberton Boys--add one more in a couple months, and hopefully one more a year later for Care :)
Some hard times FOR SURE!
Buddies!
The trip wouldn't be complete with lots of rounds of battling Bey blades! ONE, TWO, THREE-- LET IT RIP!!!
What a nice getaway! I could have probably even stayed a couple more days, after all the work to pack and unpack, a good long 'vacation' is awesome. Can't wait to go back next year, can't go wrong with the beautiful weather, great condo set up, golfing, ice cream shop, river and beach, and of course great company!
