Christmas All Around Us

Family Christmas parties start the first Sunday in December and go every Sunday in the month, except for the last.  It is a very nice way to break things up, and still be able to see all the extended families.  Our families are growing, so fun to get together and see all the kids and have time to catch up.  The De Jager family Christmas is at People's Place, and I don't have a total count on how many, but there already 16 great-grand kids, with 3 more on the way...
Some of the kids
Crew and Gannon
Brody and Chris--my boys just adore Chris, they get to play with him 2-3 days a week at my cousin Kristin's house who watches the boys. He is such a nice little boy!
Oh Kys!
Kakie (Grandpa Durk) gets all the great-grandkids a gift, Tara had a brilliant idea to get the older ones all Nerf guns!  You can only imagine what 12 kids running around with Nerf guns looked like!
3 more babes on the way--Rae is due any day, can't wait!!! Becki and Kristin both in April.
Deuce and Bo's

We also had a nice Christmas program at our church.  Although I didn't get too many pics, because from where I was sitting it was too dark.  All the kids were in blue jeans, sneakers, and the church provided color shirts for the program "Dude, do you hear what I hear?" Very cute!  He sang about 5 songs, and was up in front of the church the whole service, I say that is pretty good for only being 5.  He did get in a few yawns towards the end, only in Cruiser style! :)

We also had the Robert's Family Christmas at the Health Care Center so that my grandpa could be a part of things. It was nice to get together, but it was a shorter visit for our family because of the kids.  So Grandma Biv brought their gifts over for some special time with the boys.  They (we) love her so much, and we are so thankful for her!
Legos and monster truck, you can't go wrong with that! How exciting, and now they have some new fun toys!

We have had a busy and fun filled month already with so much to still look forward too.  Up next is Price family Christmas, and the biggest day of all, Jesus' birthday to celebrate with our immediate families!! :)
